Manila Ocean Park

Last July 18, natuloy na kami to take a tour sa Manila Ocean Park.
Syempre hindi nga kumpleto dahil ako, si Ate Zet, Tope at Dhes lang ang pwede. Ang saya ng experience to see different wonders of the deep blue sea. Uber sa dami ng fishes, corals, sting ray, pating and many more na nageexist pala sa kailaliman ng dagat.

Before kami bumili ng ticket at magtour sa MOP, naglunch muna kami sa Gerry's Grill. Bonding moments while eating our foods.

Bago ko magshare ng aming mga picture, alamin muna natin ang tungkol sa Manila Ocean Park.

The Manila Ocean Park is an oceanarium in Manila, Philippines. It is owned by China Oceanis Philippines Inc., a subsidiary of China Oceanis Inc., a Singaporean-registered firm that has operated four oceanariums in China. The Manila Ocean Park (MOP) is currently under construction behind the historical Quirino Grandstand at the Rizal Park.

The Manila Ocean Park has already begun, but there are still sections of the park that are still undergoing construction and development. The layout of the Manila Ocean Park shows how the whole establishment would appear once it is fully operational.

First Phase – Oceanarium had its soft opening date on March 1, 2008.

Second Phase – includes the marine-themed mall and the hotel, theme park, outdoor pools, restaurants which are soon to open in mid to late 2008. As of February 19, 2009 the H20 Hotel, as it is named, had yet to open. Internet hotel booking sites did not appear to be accepting any bookings. Third Phase – the open marine habitats which are set to open in the second quarter of 2009.

SECTIONS OF MOP:

1. Agos (Flow) – a rainforest motif complete with 8 tanks of freshwater fishes.

2. Bahura (The Reef) – exhibition of artificial corals in 48 tanks

3. Laot (Fishing Ground) – features big fish and Eagle-spotted rays in a long tank.

4. Buhay na Karagatan (Living Ocean) – the main attraction of the oceanarium is a 25-meter long walkway tunnel with 220-degree curved acrylic walls similarly seen in Ocean Park Hong Kong, Underwater World in Singapore, Siam Ocean World in Bangkok, Thailand and Aquaria KLCC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The difference between MOP's is a 220-degree curved tunnel as compared to the standard 180-degree curved tunnels seen in other Asian countries.

5. Kalaliman ( The Deep ) - showcases marine animals found in the deepest parts Philippine waters

6. Pagi (Sting Ray) – variety of rays fly over while you're under this unique Overhang Tank.

7. Pating (Shark) – features several species of shark.

Yearbook

It's been 1 year and 3 months since I graduated from college. I am really excited to have the copy of my yearbook and at last, I got it last July 15 when I did not attend to work due to overnight support for patch deployment.

It's exactly 4 in the afternoon na ng dumating ako sa BSU. Punta ako sa dean's office to claim my yearbook. Si Dean ang nagbibigay ng yearbook with matching interview pa tungkol sa current work ko. So proud naman akong nagkwento sa kanya. Sino ba naman hindi proud being part of the number 1 telecom in the Philippines, syempre SMART - me na me, haha.

Sobra man ako excited makita, nawala din un nung nakuha ko na sya. Ang daming kapansin-pansin sa yearbook Batch 2008.

1. Per colloge na ang yearbook, so boung Engineering lang.
2. Anim na tao per page, parang sardinas sa sikip.
3. Kumusta naman ang puno ng mangga with special participation sa back cover, lumelevel kay Kim Chiu.
4. Ang daming typographical error sa mga details.
5. Parang minadali na marealese ung yearbook, parang nga ba o minadali talaga?
6. Hindi lahat ng details na nilagay mo sa yearbook form ay nailagay sa details ng pagkatao mo.
7. Ang ibang department, nakalagay ung position ng mga organization officers, sa CoE wala man lang. Nilgay ko pa naman na SCoES Secretary ako.
8. Yung mga awards and recognition meron ang ibang section, sa CoE 5A wala man lang. Top 8 pa naman ako sa Compre.
9. Hindi consistent ang pagkakalagay ng mga details ang bawat graduate.
10. Wala man lang class picture per section.
11. Kulang ang picture ng mga Engineering Faculty.
12. Parang walang effort sa paggawa ung nagcompile ng Yearbook.

At ang pinakamaling mali, hindi sya WoW Mali dahil mali talaga.

Kumusta naman ang detalye ng magulang, tirahan, kaarawan ni Jedilyn Constantino, ung detalye din ni Vanessa Blanco. Maling mali talaga.

Ganun pa man, happy na din. Nakuha ko na sya, hindi naman importante ang lahat ng pagkakamali na makikita sa yearbook dahil ang pinakaimportante ay ang pagkakaibigan at samahan na nabuo sa limang taong pagsasama.

P.S. Kinausap ko na si Dean Nick regarding sa case ni Jed, at sabi nya ipapagawa daw ng bago si Jed na tama na yung details nya. Dapat lang naman diba?

TGIS - Thanks GOD it's Saturday.
Ngayong araw na ito nakaset ang lakad ng barkada, at dahil kay bagyong Isang, hindi kami kumpleto. Majority hindi makakasama, pero dahil nagleave pa si Dhes dapat ituloy na. Grrrr, malungkot.
Balikan muna natin ang mga pangyayari bakit July 18 naset yung date ng lakad.

1. Mahirap magset ng lahat kasama ang buong barkada, maraming dahilan kaya hindi makumpleto, magtext ka walang sasagot, hay nako.
2. Gusto ko icelebrate ang summer with them, April nung niyaya ko sila na magswimming sa Amana Waterparks na kabubukas lang that time. Syempre hindi ito natuloy nung May.
3. Nagusap ako, si Aries at Tope ng dapat gawin magkita-kita lang, nagsuggest si Tope ng maraming pwede pasyalan. Pinili ko ang Manila Ocean Park. So ayun naset na ang date, June 12 since wala pasok dahil Independence Day.
4. Sobra kong naexcited, may weekly countdown ako hanggang mag June 11 na.
5. June 11 ng gabi alam na, hindi matutuloy dahil sa mga sumusunod na dahilan:
a. Si Melai, nagkaprob sa opis - hindi na pwede sumama
b. Si Tope, hindi na din daw sasama wala 'daw' pera.
c. Si Sheh, hindi pa sure
d. Si Dhes, may pasok kahit holiday
e. Si Cere, may activity ata sa church - not sure nakalimutan ko na.
f. Si Ridda, high blood si Tita - hindi na pwede sumama
g. Si Ate Zet, may half day na pasok
h. Si Aries at ako na lang - date ba ito? haha
i. HINDI NA TULOY
6. Sabi ko, wag na ituloy forever, pero joke lang pala, another date na naset ay July 18. Natuloy na din sa wakas, pero si Dhes, Tope, Ate Zet at ako lang natuloy. Bakit na naman? Ito mga dahilan.
a. Si Ridda, may dance pratice para sa welcome party nila sa company - work related (MJ moves...go Ms. O)
b. Si Aries, may lagnat dahil kay Isang - pagaling po
c. Si Sheh, hindi pinayagan ni Tita and Tito kasi nga mag bagyo - strict parents
d. Si Melai, poor daw sya - ows haha piz melai.
e. Si Cere, may work - bawal ata magleave...hehe

Thanks GOD, natuloy na rin at hindi masyado maulan. Salamat po.
At sa mga oras na ito, super pagod, super talaga, sakit ng binti ko, grabe.
Lumakad ba naman kami forever eh. Haha. Eto mga list of activities namin kanina:

1. Si Ate Zet at ako galing Bulacan, magkikita kami sa Capitol pero nagkasakay kami sa jeep, so sa Crossing na lang kami sumakay ng FX going to LRT.
2. Si Dhes imeet namin sa UN Ave from Valenzuela. Nakakatuwa nasa isang train lang kami tatlo ng hindi namin alam.
3. Si Tope nagovernight sa work, so sa Times Plaza namin sya pinuntahan.
4. Mula sa UN Ave lakad to the max.
5. Rizal Park at Luneta - picture picture
6. Lakad to Manila Ocean Park.
7. 12noon lunch at Gerry's Grill MOP
8. Enter MOP at 2 PM
9. Lakad lakad picture picture. Super daming fish - i smell something fishy hehe
10. Lakad going to Intramuros
11. Lakad sa San Agustin Church
12. Lakad sa Manila Cathedral
13. Jeep going back to UN
14. LRT from UN to Monumento Station
15. Going back to Bulacan

So kumusta naman ang paglalakad? haha..............
At 9pm bahay na ako. Enjoy naman kahit hindi kumpleto. Masaya naman kaming apat.
Pro syempre, sana makumpleto naman kami next time. SANA.

Welcome to the blog world!

This is the start of something new for me. Matagal ko nang binalak gumawa ng isang blog kaso tinatamad ako. Pero ngaun ready na ko na magblogging, magpost ng update at magbalita ng kung ano ano sa mga taong posibleng bumasa ng mga sinusulat ko. Inspirasyon sa pagsisimula ng blog na ito ang highschool classmate ko and college schoolmate and coursemate si Lester Phil Cruz - eto visit his blogspot account.

This is actually my third social networking account in the cyberworld. Try to visit my friendster and facebook account para masaya haha. (Friendster - Facebook).
